Looking for a place to display your sculpture?
Leonia is a small town in New Jersey, with a big history of artists, located ½ mile from the George Washington Bridge. With a continuing interest in art, Leonia has 50 outdoor sculptures sprinkled around town. The artwork, which is on loan, gives exposure to emerging as well as established artists. Some of the sculptures are at the Erika and David Sculpture Garden, a park which is located in the center of town.
Sculpture for Leonia, Inc. manages this program. It provides compensation for installation costs to the artist, along with publicity and occasional Meet the Artist events. All installation sites are on Borough property, which means that the artwork is insured.
Feel free to browse past and present artworks, which have been on loan since the formation of Sculpture for Leonia in 2006. They demonstrate a variety of artistic styles and materials.
